Another Weekend

last saturday i went for hafidz's sister's wedding at PSA Club. very ulu but otherwise still accessible by bus. i went with fiza and nadia. we didn't get to see the bride and the groom cos we arrived abit late. i never like to attending weddings or any formal occassions cos i'm not used to such things. i don't know what to do or what to talk about when i meet people. i like to stick to my own kind and my own world but nonetheless i better get used to weddings cause most of my friends are getting older and i'm sure i've to attend their weddings. i've never taught about marrying yet though cos to me i still prefer to be a bachelor. i went to vivo city alone cos i've one hour to kill before i meet up with weiliang. vivo city is so packed and i mean really packed, i've never had an experience where you can't really walk in a shopping mall. the scene is almost the same just after a football match at the stadium. i hate crowds. irritating.

i met up with weiliang at borders. he came late as usual, supposed to meet at 6 but he came at 7 so he decided to give me a dinner treat. that night orchard road was packed to the brim. it was really congested just at vivo city. horrible. not sure what's the occasion that night. we went to several places to have our dinner but most places have long queue even Sushi Tae and Rice Table. so we end up back where we began, wheelock place. weiliang knows that i'm a vegetarian (or rather a failed vegetarian) so he said we should avoid places which sells meat and its kind. we end up at some healthy bar which called Double Os at wheelock. i had vegetarian risotto and he had chicken pasta. its a medium size portion but we are so stuffed halfway through. i finished half of the caserolle. weiliang finished his portion and he finish my portion too. good for him.

i called derek cos i'm supposed to meet him. he is at meridien foodcourt. now i'm abit confused with meridien hotel and marina mandarin. when i told weiliang we had to go to meridien, he says we should take the bus but i refused cause i thought its nearby. thus the confusion. anyway we walked all the way with a stop at the 7-11. while we were waiting to cross the traffic light at wheelock, both of us were hugged by these 2 girls. we are quite surprised by it cos we didnt expect it to come especially at a crowded traffic light. when we turn around we saw that these 2 girls were together with another 4 girls. not sure how old they were but i guess rougly same age as us. i bet these 2 girls lost in their bet and now as a punishment they had to do some stupid things.

orchard road is getting boring cos it seems that it has always been the same group of people buskering. the five foot walk was congested like mad. i saw lincoln and his gf somewhere along the way and then i saw fathir too. then we came upon another traffic light just before marina mandarin. while waiting for the green man, we were again being hugged and given a kiss on the cheek by the same girls. i thought, 'what the fuck, bloody whore'. seriously its embarassing, weiliang asked them what the fuck they are doing. these girls apparently has been following us all the way from wheelock place and they thought that we are interesting and they want to get to know us. thats bullshit of cos, why people want to know sore losers like us. so i tell them to get lost before i do something stupid. but these bitches plead that they are sincere and they want our mobile numbers. how cheap can girls be? so weiliang and i made up a number and gave it to them after which both us get another kiss not by 2 girls but by 6 girls and a hug. not sure whether to feel happy or embarassed but these girls are irritating bitches. weiliang told them not to bother us if not we will not pick up the calls. yeah rite how are they supposed to call when we gave them the wrong numbers. bleah. come to think of it, whatever happened was funny cos it bring back memories, weiliang, scott, fadhil and me were just like them few years back. we would disturb people just to amuse ourselves.

anyway we reach meridien and met up with derek. derek just came back from australia and he bought me something ridiculous as a sourvenir.

derek got me a kangaroo year. like yay. -_- anyway thats weiliang and me. look dumb as usual. i got to take pic without the ears.

so thats us again looking dumb. i think derek sucks in taking photos. horrible guy.

and that is us, 6 months ago when weiliang came to dubai for a visit. long hair gone *poof*

that night was ZoukOut. Lots of partying at sentosa. i didn't go though i got a free ticket from my sister. she is not into mass orgy. weiliang went with his friends and i met up with jess for a late night movie with jess and sarah.

jess and sarah had to rush down from their work place to orchard road. we watch james bond. i cant believe i watch such show. it wasnt that bad actually. i told jess and sarah of what happened at the traffic light. jess was amused that people think that both of us are interesting. sarah was abit paranoid about her boyfriend weiliang thinking that he had initiated the ruckus. lately she has been getting paranoid over small things, like afraid she would get fired at her work place or getting robbed. shrugs.
